Conference Room & Patio

The Mott House conference room and patio are generally limited to use by our grantees. In special circumstances, the Mott House is available to organizations whose mission aligns with the Stewart R Mott Foundation’s giving priorities. 

Our conference room (not including the connected patio space) holds about 40-50 people standing; about 25 seated conference-style and 40 theatre-style seating. Our patio space alone can hold up to 150 people standing, 60 seated reception-style, and 80 seated theater-style. The patio space is not covered, but if you wish to rent a tent we can recommend a tent rental company. Tent rental generally costs around $1,000 and would be at your expense. In addition, our office can recommend several caterers who are familiar with the house.  Conference room usage is limited to weekdays.
